"Thulcandra" is the final installment in the series of three imaginary soundtracks loosely based on C S Lewis' Space Trilogy, written in the 1930s and 40s. The music is connected to themes and narrative in the third novel, That Hideous Strength, originally published in 1945.

The novel bringing the thematical foundation is a pretty curious one. There are certain religious and gender themes which are very much of its time and long since grown irrelevant. However, the themes of totalitarian tendencies and elitist bigotry are sadly as relevant now as when they were written.

The album is,like the two previous installments, a work of its own and hopefully a musical journey of sorts.
